All Donatella Cinelli Colombini’s wines can be tasted in both wineries Fattoria del Colle in Trequanda and Casato Prime Donne in Montalcino. Timetable: every day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m./ 3 p.m. to 6 p.m Groups until 50 people upon reservation.
Fattoria del Colle offers Tuscan farmhouse apartments. Sojourns can vary from short one-night stays to several weeks’ holidays. The estate is a small hamlet miraculously unspoilt through the course of the centuries. At the heart of the hamlet stand the 16th century villa and chapel and the old sharecropper dwellings currently renovated into apartments and rooms of the agriturismo, the restaurant Osteria di Donatella, the spa, and the cookery school.
At the heart of the small hamlet called Fattoria del Colle there is “Osteria di Donatella” the restaurant that bears the name of its owner Donatella Cinelli Colombini, who created it to serve her Brunello, Orcia and Chianti wines together with typical Tuscan dishes. To these local dishes new recipes have been added specifically created to match the wines. Every dish is prepared with care and with excellent ingredients: fresh vegetables from the estate gardens, Chianina meats and Cinta Senese pork, white truffles from the Crete Senesi. Many are Slow food Presidia, and practically all at 0 km, the result of a study which aims at bringing to the table only what is genuine and traditional.
